Lagniappe – a Louisiana business tradition of offering a little something extra to customers, such as a baker’s dozen.
Lanyap Solar’s founder, Eric Harter, first learned the term langiappe while working in Lousiana on a paddlewheel steamboat in the early 90s. There he learned that providing “a little something extra”, or langiappe, improved the experience for both the customer and himself.
This idea remained with Eric throughout his career and is the basis of Lanyap Solar’s philosophy today: to provide a fresh approach using our unique perspectives to give you more than a cookie cutter solar or energy storage solution.
